New Vid: Heroes (Elle) - "Sunburn"

I made this a couple weeks ago, but didn't post it due to that I'm not 100% confident in this video. It does need some work on the narrative department (Thanks to Dragonchic, for the insightful beta! You opened up my eyes on a lot of things..), but right now this writers strike is still going on... Who knows when Heroes will start again. I don't know what else to do with this right now. Currently My focus is towards my newest projects.

Guh, you KNOW how much I love this video, and I don't even WATCH Heroes. I just can't stop watching it; I think my favouritest parts were definitely the beautiful colouring (you NEED to teach me how to colour things properly *lol*) and the rewound part at the end - it was still so perfectly timed with the music. Great work!!

I would love to, but I use color plugins that weren't originally given in Sony Vegas and I mess around with them :-D

It's a beautiful video, Kitty. I adore your overlays here, the consistency with the coloring work, and - most of all - how your motion matches the flow of the music so incredibly well.

I thought the ending worked extemely well, both thematically and musically.

Your last two vids have been so *plugged in* to the music that it just blows my mind. I mean, I used to watch and enjoy your vids, but now I get downright excited when I see you post a new one.

Aww, thank you! That means a lot! I've been trying to push myself in vidding lately. I hope you'll check out my christmas wish video too - coming soon! I'm going to an extreme with it, lol.

WOO ! THat was awesome !
First, I love the song, it reminded of the good old Muse days where I'd see them in concert and we'd be like 30. lol.
But anyway, this was beautiful and so well paced. I loved the different overlays, the flow of the vid in general is great !
Elle wasn't in so many episodes but you adressed her very well, and the "guilty conscience grow" was just right on.
I loved the coloring, it made everything so consistent and beautiful. and I also liked the reverse-all thing at the end :)
Great editing, excellent flow and very entertaining. I loved it :)

This is a great Elle character study. I especially like the sort of bouncy section around 1:23 with Peter and her and how it contrasts to the rest of the vid. I also really like what you did with the color and the opening title.

Kitty, I've been loving your recent vids so far. You have such an eye for motion and composition and this is a great demonstration of those skills. I LOVE the colouring over this vid, it's so perfect for the "sunburn" concept and looks amazing. And I dig the music editing toward the end and the innovative way you reversed pretty much the entire vid! Very cool. :)

I've only seen season 1 of Heroes so far, but when I saw you had a new vid and to this song (one I've loved for a long time) I had to watch, regardless of spoilers lol.

And I'm glad I did because it's just GUH as usual. I really loved the colouring and effects... especially that little rewindng scene at the end. And I understood a lot of it even though I've not seen it yet, so yay on that :D x

I saw that you used this song and kind of went nuts as it's one of my favorite songs ever. I never knew it was rare one because I went the cheating route when I first heard of Muse and downloaded it onto my iPod. I haven't watched most of the second season of Heroes because I was one who dropped it in that whole stage where it could have been a LOT better, so I'm not even sure who Elle is aside from your post. The video was cool, I loved all the uses of the cookie cutter, you're really good at that! I also really liked the part at the end where it sort of rewound itself. I've always wanted to do something similar, but have never found the right moment in a video. This makes me want to watch more of the show as I like Kristen Bell, but I have never seen her in more of a not so nice role like this one. Great job!

I haven't watched most of the second season of Heroes because I was one who dropped it in that whole stage where it could have been a LOT better, so I'm not even sure who Elle is aside from your post.
I thought the first like 3 to 4 episodes of Season 2 were really bad... but then Wam! the show got so good after that. You should watch the rest of season 2 because it's really good.
